Biography

Luba Agranovsky, piano
A native of Moscow, Ms. Agranovsky received her Bachelor's and Master's in Piano Performance and Piano Pedagogy from The Gnessin Academy of Music. She has performed with Israeli Orchestras and made numerous recordings for Israel Radio and Israel TV. In 1997, she moved to the US, where she became a member of The Rachmaninov Trio. Ms. Agranovsky was featured in The Philadelphia Orchestra Chamber Music Series from 1998 to 2019. She also served as an accompanist for the Curtis Institute of Music and a faculty member at the Temple University Preparatory Division of the Boyer College of Music.
In 2009, Luba Agranovsky recorded CD “Timeless Classics”, music for Flute and Piano with Dmitri Kasyuk.
Ms. Agranovsky also maintains a private Studio in Cherry Hill, NJ. Her students have been winners of numerous competitions and continue to perform annually at the Carnegie Weill Recital Hall and Merkin Hall in New York City as well as Kimmel Center in Philadelphia. Ms. Agranovsky was awarded the Certificate of Exellence from the Golden Key International Music Festival.

Dmitri Kasyuk, flute
Dmitri began his formal training at Gnessin Academy of Music (Moscow, Russia) and later studied with William Bennett (Royal Academy of Music, London) and Julius Baker (Juilliard School of Music, New York). He had served as a flute piccolo soloist with Moscow Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Opera and Ballet Theatre Orchestra, principal flutist with Moscow Chamber Orchestra (Russia), and Jerusalem Chamber Orchestra (Israel). He was also invited to perform with the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra (Israel), Milan Chamber Orchestra (Italy), Ankara Symphony Orchestra (Turkey). Mr. Kasyuk performed with La Scala Theatre Orchestra and was a featured performer at prestigious festivals including Jerusalem Music Festival (Israel), Edinburgh Music Festival (Scotland) and Spoleto Festival (Italy). Recently, Mr. Kasyuk has also appeared as a guest flutist with Philly Pops Orchestra.
Since 2001, Mr. Kasyuk has served as director of the School of Music at PJDS (Philadelphia, PA) and Kellman Brown Academy (Cherry Hill, NJ). His students have been prize winners in numerous national and international competitions as well as members of South Jersey Youth Orchestra, New Jersey State Youth Orchestra and Philadelphia Youth Orchestra.
Mr. Kasyuk performs regularly throughout the USA and Europe, both as a soloist and as a member of the flute and piano Duo with Luba Agranovsky. The Duo recorded the CD “Timeless Classics” together.
